Surveillance cameras captured video of an unidentified gunman who robbed a Wawa in Burholme last Friday night, police say.
The crime occurred at 801 Cottman Ave. at about 11:22 p.m. when the suspect entered the store and opened his backpack on the sales counter to reveal a gun to a clerk. The robber demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash westbound on Cottman toward Central Avenue.

He was described as black, 6 feet 1 inch tall and thin with a light complexion, a dark blue hooded jacket featuring a large light blue block “N” insignia on the chest, a tan cap and dark pants. Call 215–686-TIPS or text to PPD TIP to report information. ••
